StingraySource.com is a website continuously being compiled and revised by Miles Bergsma. Miles has been an aquarist for over a decade, concentrating on keeping exotic freshwater fish from every country. In the last five years, Miles has been involved with the importation of Freshwater Stingrays from Peru. A friendship established at a local fish store, Miles came to know import aficionado Andre Rowe, owner of AquariumPAEX. Together they have imported hundreds of potamotrygon, as well as other fish, from many locations in Peru. The passion for keeping freshwater stingrays has taken hold of their personal fish collections. With the amount of misunderstanding about these amazing animals, Miles and Andre have taken ownership in providing information for the stingray hobbyist. With the collective help of Miguel Espinoza, exporter AquariumPAEX, and some of the leading potamotrygon experts around the world, we hope to clarify all things potamotrygon.
